INTRODUCTION

Teach Social Welfare Society is a non-governmental body.

It functions for the spread and development of basic education, social awareness, social developmental activities and attainment of the knowledge of foreign language.

The activities are undertaken regionally. The main concentration is to uplift the impoverished members of society in educational, social and economic sectors within it’s possible resources.

The Society through a set plan will endeavor and probe into the possibilities to consolidate the strength, talent , manpower, and skills of the members of society so that it can proceed towards social progress and development with an exemplary pace.

All possible efforts will be made by the office bearers and members of the Society to bring about positive change in the living condition of the people in the area, specifically the people who suffer due to poverty.

BACKGROUND

Teach Social Welfare Society was established in 1^st September 1999.

It launched campaigns by calling/arranging social meetings and organizing programs/workshops for equal social rights, social awareness, and social development from the very on set in its area Hazara Town.

Since the area was traditionally influenced by the passed perceptions of segregating the women in educational, social and economic fields, the lunch of the campaigns for the removal off segregations and discrimination was deemed vital for progress of the area.

Majority of the people of the area suffer economic hardship. It bars them particularly from getting their basic rights for education. Teach social Welfare Society with a firm commitment to fight against such impediments, took practical steps in education sector. The Society undertook language program and literacy classes at the initial stages. With the steady efforts of the Society the language classes were then developed and preceded with the establishment of a stable and well organized language center. The financially weak members off the community especially young boys and girls who had no access to any educational opportunity were given free admission at the center.

Teach Social Welfare Society with a thorough dedication to the task of socioeconomic boost up provided job at the language center to a number of people of the area.

Most of the language staff is female teachers.

Besides the language program, the management of the Society took a step further and offered computer classes, too. Because the main concern was the educational problem of the poor people of the area, free admission was offered to the students who were in no financial position to afford fee elsewhere.

The Society in the hot pursuit of providing all specifically the poor people with the accessibility to free education, diverted most of its energy, efforts, concentration, and activities towards the dissemination of knowledge in the area. Thus it undertook the responsibility to establish a school in the area. The school under the title of Teach Grammar School has started its formal function in the area from 2003.

The main achievement of Teach Social Welfare Society has so far perceived to exist in the set up of trend which is absolutely knowledge-oriented in nature and socially constructive in all aspects.

OBJECTIVE

Teach Social welfare Society commits itself to the fulfillment of the following adjectives:

a. To bring about a progressive change in the social scenario of the people of the area.

b. To remove the barriers which deprive the women folk of the area from getting their basic social rights?

c. To help the poor people of the area.

d. To provide equal educational opportunity especially for the impoverished people of the area.

e. To increase awareness against racial/social/religious gender discrimination.

Aim

The aim of TEACH Social welfare Society is to witness a progressive society free of social, gender. Class discrimination and segregation, the individual brilliance should weave a potential net for collective prosper it.

Vision

Manpower of a society is the main resource and potential for putting the society and its associate members on the road to progress. Keeping in view the significance of the phenomenon, manpower skills, talent and capabilities should not rust out and remain stagnant and hidden. Therefore, Teach Social Welfare Society will endeavor to bring out the best of the manpower for the best interest of the people of the area.

Mission

A progressive society should come into existence and continue to work with a set of principles and immense of human development, rights, and happiness in the area.

Goal

Teach Social Welfare Society commits itself to take responsibility that:

A: Social awareness prevails and educational opportunity is made accessible for all.
