Introduction
 

Imam Sadiq (AS) Educational Institute (I.S.E.I) was established in 1997 in Quetta city and has been active since then. The purpose of establishment of the aforesaid institute was to help the students especially the poor students to learn English language. This center has been very successful in teaching English language, making Short-term courses to educate elders and those uneducated boys, girls and women, tuition classes for male and female and teaching Holy Quran.

It can’t be denied that English language has got more importance in routine life and activities of the people. Seeking modern knowledge and getting education totally depend on knowing English language nowadays; it has proved to be the language of modern technology, science and key tool for international communications. In spite of this, we do not only aim to teach a foreign language only, we would rather try to structure the character of our students, give them social awareness and at all we want to see that our society is able to join the caravan of progress and therefore we along with the other educational institutes and help of our community members make efforts to help our society to progress.

To carry out the above aim and purpose, we have and make different programs such as lecture programs, writing competition, scrabble competition, debate contest and so on.

Recently (28 September 03) we had a debate contest in which Mr. haji Nazary was the president of the occasion and Mr. Ahsani was our special guest. We had 28 debaters, 4 tableaus, 1 dram and about 600 listeners.

Since the establishment of the center hundreds of students have learned English language and hundreds, especially children have learned reading Holy Quran along with basic Islamic teachings so far.

Imam Sadiq (AS) Educational Institute (I.S.E.I) has about 500 English students, and more than 100 students in different other classes. There are 20 teachers teaching English, Dari, Urdu, tuition and Holy Quran classes.

Despite financial problems, we are ready and interested to continue this process in

order to facilitate the students of our community to get education and learn skills here.

For the time being I.S.E.I is situated on Alamdar Road Khartar Chowk Quetta Pakistan and Mr. Mohamed Younas Ali Zada is the director.
